One partner for the entire logistics chain
VIMARKO OIL S.R.L. is a Romanian service company for the petroleum industry, headquartered in Ploiești, the historic centre of Romanian refining. We cover the logistics and operational chain for petroleum products: from port discharge and storage to transport, pipeline network operations and technical support for refineries.
We work with producers, traders, distributors and infrastructure operators who need a single partner able to integrate physical operations, customs and tax compliance, and the coordination of multimodal transport.

The Ploiești petroleum products terminal, operated by VIMARKO
The Ploiești terminal has a technical storage capacity of 16,000 m³ and a technical throughput of up to 3,800 tonnes per day, with direct rail and road access. It is located at 235 Mihai Bravu Street, in Ploiești's industrial zone, about 60 km from Bucharest and close to the A3 motorway.
Its position at the heart of the Prahova refining cluster makes it a natural point for the receipt, storage, conditioning and redistribution of fuels to the domestic market.

With an average stock rotation of about 3.5 days at maximum throughput, the terminal is designed for continuous distribution flow, not passive storage.

Logistics services through Oil Terminal Constanța
VIMARKO organises the entire flow of petroleum products entering or transiting Romania by sea, under its service contract with Oil Terminal S.A. Constanța, in the Constanța Free Zone. The client has a single point of contact for the whole chain: vessel, tank, customs and onward dispatch to destination.

Every operation is preceded by counterparty screening: trade registers, EU and international sanctions lists, the origin of the goods and specification compliance (EN 590 for diesel). We do not accept goods or partners subject to European Union sanctions regimes.

Pipeline networks
Operation and operational maintenance for crude oil and fuel pipeline networks
VIMARKO provides pipeline and depot operators with teams for day-to-day operations and the maintenance that keeps the network running. Our interventions are planned together with the client's dispatch centre to keep pumping stoppages to a minimum.
Operation
- Operations at pumping stations, loading racks and tank farms: start-ups, shutdowns, route changes, valve operations.
- Product receipts and handovers, level and temperature measurement, sampling.
- Route surveillance and pipeline patrols, reporting unauthorised interventions and leaks.
- Support for launching and receiving cleaning and inspection pigs (pigging).
Operational maintenance
- Preventive and corrective maintenance of pumps, valves, filters, meters and metering systems.
- Inspection and upkeep of cathodic protection systems.
- Response to failures and leaks, isolating pipeline sections and restarting pumping.
- Tank cleaning and preparation for inspection or overhaul.
- Intervention records and periodic reports to the client.

Refineries
Maintenance and operational services for refineries
For refineries, VIMARKO provides personnel and coordination for the activities that support production: in-plant product logistics, routine maintenance and support during planned shutdowns. We integrate into each site's work procedures, permit-to-work system and HSE rules.
Logistics & tank-farm operations
- Tank-farm operations for crude, intermediates and finished products.
